The Hitachi Medical Group utilizes the Hitachi Group's cutting-edge technological expertise, based on its own technologies, in the development of "patient-friendly" systems, while also pursuing global sales and service strategies to provide solutions that are truly useful in the medical field.

Hitachi utilizes its technological expertise to provide advanced equipment, systems and services in the fields of biotechnology and life science. Motivated by a deep commitment to technology research and development, their goals are to offer customers a wide range of advanced medical equipment. Hitachi has a solid track record in the field of medical systems for the early diagnosis of illness. In the field of MRI machines, for example, Hitachi produces systems that maintain high image quality, yet are designed with an elliptical opening that gives a more spacious feeling and offers more comfort for people with large body frames or claustrophobic patients. Hitachi's CT machines are designed to use the latest technology for reducing exposure to radiation, making them safer for people undergoing scans
